Terms of use

Last updated 30 September 2026

These terms cover this website and your use of Fort the Win. By using the site or playing the game you agree to them. They are offered by Shepherd Rock, a sole proprietorship ("we", "us").

Buying and playing Fort the Win

You buy Fort the Win from a store such as Steam or the Epic Games Store, not from us. Your purchase, refunds and your licence to play the game are governed by that store's terms:

Those terms sit alongside these ones. If the two ever conflict, the store's terms win for anything about your purchase or licence.

Fair play

When you play the game or use this site, please don't:

Mods and tinkering with your own copy for single-player fun are fine, as long as you don't distribute our files or pass your work off as official.

Videos and streams

You are welcome to stream Fort the Win, post videos of it, and earn money from that content on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch. Please don't present your content as official, and don't use it to share the game's files.

Our content

The game, this website and everything on them, including the names Shepherd Rock andFort the Win, the logos, art, music and text, belong to us or our licensors. Apart from what these terms allow, please ask before using them. Press can use the logos and images on this site to write about the game.

This website

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and may change or remove anything on it, including release dates and features we have announced. Links to other websites are there for convenience; we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the game gets new features. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site or the game after a change means you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, United States, and its courts can hear disputes about them. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protection your own country's consumer law gives you and can bring a claim there.
